September 21st, evening, the Welcoming Dinner Party of Pudong Tangcheng – Star World 9-Ball China Open was held in the Banquet Hall of Shanghai MinYa Hotel (Pudong). The 2010 World 9-Ball China Open, co-organized by World Pool-Billiard Association, Management Center of Small Ball -- General Administration of Sport of China, China Billiards Association, Shanghai Administration of Sports and Shanghai Sports Federation, is the highest level pool-billiard 9-ball event at home, and belongs to the world ranking system together with the Women’s World 9-Ball Championship which was just concluded in Shenyang. The first Star World 9-Ball China Open was held successfully last year, and this is the second one. Since last year, Shanghai MinYa Hotel has been the exclusive designated hotel for the event for two consecutive years.
